Besmak Components was established in the year 1994. Besmak is one of the leading manufacturers of wide verity of automotive connectors and has had a sustained growth in the past 15 years.

 Our Quality system has certified to QS 9000 standard in 2000 and upgraded to ISO/TS 16949:2002 standard in 2005 and we certified to ISO/TS 16949:2009 standards in 2010.

 

The Company was started by Technocrats well qualified and experienced in Injection Mould Design and Manufacture. Late Mr C.N Hari a qualified expert in Tool Manufacturing set the directions for the Company. With his Marketing skills and excellent Customer relations he built a strong brand image for BESMAK. This also gave the Company a very good edge in localization and more than 250 types of connectors were developed to catering to the needs of the customer. From a sale of Rs.25 lacs in the year 1994 the sales grew to Rs.22 Crores in the year 2010. The Company is currently headed by Mrs Hemahari wife of our founder Late Sri CN Hari, graduate, in the capacity of CMD.

Products and Services
The Company provides solutions to the Customer thru’ development of precision plastic parts in their Project phase and supports their lines in the production phase. It can also design and develop customized components at customer’s request. Our tool room has the expertise to manufacture high precision tools and moulds. The Company manufactures a wide range (more than 250 types) of components and special connectors which meets international standards, and currently develops a minimum of 40 new products / variants every year.  
Marketing and Sales
The current market for the company is all the major wiring harness manufacturers who are Tier 1 vendors for Auto majors in both two wheeler as well as four wheeler manufacturers like HERO HONDA, BAJAJ, SUZUKI, ROYAL ENFIELD, TVS MOTORS, HONDA MOTORS, MARUTI, GM, FORD, TOYOTA, VOLKSWAGON, NISSAN, HONDA, HYUNDAI, MAHINDRA, PIAGGIO, TATA, ASHOK LEYLAND, REVA etc.   The Company currently enjoys a market share of 40% in 2wheeler segment and 20% in 4 wheeler segment of the domestic connector manufacturing business and is a preferred/strategic DOL status supplier for many of its customers. The company also has a large customer base in the country. We are also exporting our products to Malaysia.   Besmak has established two warehouses – strategically located at Gurgaon and Pune close to the major customers being served. The warehouses hold stocks of parts based on their buying pattern and supplies are made on a daily basis. This ensures just – in – time delivery and zero line stoppage without stocks at customer end.   Year 2009-10 the company has achieved a turnover of  Rs.22.0 Crores ($5million), Y-0-Y increase of 53%.  
Operations
We have a rich experience in 3D product design, multi cavity injection mould designing, mould manufacturing and injection moulding of varied products in large volume. We have in-house tool room equipped with precision machineries and well experienced employees in the field of manufacturing of high precision moulds for engineered plastic components. The covered factory area is around 20300 sqft and an uncovered area is around 15000 sqft.
Design and Development
Equipped with latest versions of AUTOCAD, and UNIGRAPHICS, our Design and Development Department has an edge over other facilities to cope up with the expectations of the customers. We make components to meet International quality specifications like DIN, JASO, US-CAR, ISO 8092 etc. and have been accredited with ISO/TS - 16949 : 2009 Certifications for the systems maintained.
Tool & Die Making
We have State of the art captive Tool room with the capacity to deliver high precision tools and moulds. Presently we are manufacturing 48 moulds in a year. Our tool room is equipped with CNC Wire cut, Spark Erosion Machine, Super drill, and NC Cylindrical & Surface Grinding Machines.
Injection Moulding
The production shop has 25 microprocessor controlled injection moulding machines of capacity range 50T to 120T. The production shop works 3 shifts. A well trained team of operators supervised by qualified and experienced supervisors, engineers ensure strict adherence to process standards. A strong maintenance team ensures a high level of plant and equipment up time. The installed annual capacity is 180 million components. We process engineering plastics like NYLON (PA6 & 66) unfilled, 5-35% GF filled, FR grade, HSL, IM etc, PBT unfilled, GF filled upto 35%, FR grade etc, PP, PPCP, PPHP, PPFR, ABS, DELRIN etc. in natural and more than 9 different colours with master batches. We implemented RoHS norms in our production.
Environment
This industry is classified under “Orange Category” and Non Hazardous in nature. The process of manufacture does not generate process emission and effluents. The noise levels in this process of manufacture are well within the Pollution Norms.
